Shipping Policy

At D.Moris, every part is handled with the utmost care, from manufacturing to packaging and shipping. Due to the technical nature and variable size of our products, shipping conditions are tailored to each order.

1. Shipping costs upon quotation

Shipping costs are calculated exclusively upon quotation and are not displayed online.

They are determined based on several factors:

  • volume and weight of the items,

  • destination,

  • selected shipping method (standard, express, etc.),

  • specific delivery constraints (access conditions, handling requirements, liftgate service, etc.).

No shipment will be processed without prior validation of the shipping quotation by the Customer.

2. Validity of shipping costs

Shipping costs indicated in a quotation are valid for 7 calendar days from the date of issue.

After this period, a revised quotation may be required depending on changes in carrier pricing or modifications to the order.

3. Manufacturing, shipping and delivery times

As all D.Moris products are made to order, the manufacturing lead time is generally estimated at 4 to 6 weeks from order confirmation (see Terms & Conditions).

This timeframe is indicative and may vary depending on:

  • the complexity of the parts,

  • quantities ordered,

  • level of customization,

  • workshop production workload.

Once production is completed and the shipping quotation has been approved, the order is handed over to the carrier.
Delivery times then depend on the destination and the selected shipping method.

All timeframes are indicative. No reasonable delay shall give rise to cancellation, refund, or compensation.

4. Order tracking

A tracking number will be provided once the order has been handed over to the carrier, allowing real-time shipment tracking.

5. Customs duties and taxes

For deliveries outside the European Union (including Switzerland), customs duties, taxes, or import fees may apply.

These charges are the sole responsibility of the Customer and are not included in the product price or shipping costs.

6. Delays and delivery issues

In the event of significant delay or delivery issues, the Customer is invited to contact customer service at contact@d-moris.com.

D.Moris shall not be held liable for delays caused by carriers, customs authorities, or any external circumstances.

7. Delivery and liability

Responsibility for the goods transfers to the Customer upon handover to the carrier.

It is the Customer’s responsibility to check the condition of the package upon delivery.

Any issue (damaged, opened package, missing or damaged items) must:

  • be noted in the presence of the carrier,

  • be clearly and precisely reported on the delivery note,

  • be notified to D.Moris within a maximum of 48 hours.

Without proper reservations, no claim will be accepted.

7.1 Mandatory inspection upon delivery

The Customer must:

  • open the package in the presence of the carrier,

  • inspect the contents,

  • record detailed reservations in case of damage.

In case of damage:

  • refuse the delivery or issue detailed reservations,

  • take photographs,

  • notify D.Moris within 24 hours.

Failing this, no claim will be accepted.

8. Changes to the Shipping Policy

D.Moris reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
The applicable conditions are those in effect at the time of order confirmation.
